I’m so glad you’re planning ahead. You see, lots of people tend to wait ’til the last minute. And at that point, I end up getting coffee mugs and gift cards. Not that those aren’t nice, mind you, but they’re not all that inspired.
Instead, I’ll make it nice ‘n’ easy for you all.
Possibly planned to coincide with my annual birthday celebration (which takes up the entire month of July…), Elton John (and Billy Joel) are performing at Fenway Park. What better way to spend my birthday month than by seeing Elton perform for the 30th and 31st time? No seriously, I ask you: what better way could there be?
Some of you might be thinking, “But Scott, you’re so cool. You work in the music industry, isn’t Elton a bit past his peak? Isn’t it a bit of a joke at this point? I mean, come on …”
To those people, I say, screw you. I never liked you anyway.
