I spent last week at SXSW. And with all the chaos going on in Austin, I wasn’t able to pay attention to the political wrangling going on in DC. It was nice to be disconnected from the bitter partisanship, back-stabbing, and utter contempt for differing viewpoints.
Upon return to home/planet Earth,
Beware! Beware! The Ides of March are upon us …
…and they’re singing “Vehicle” 🙂
The best-est part of working in radio was being able to play amazingly topical music. Specifically, March 15th meant the one time we got to play “Vehicle” by the Ides of March. A personal favorite tune, it’s a total one-hit wonder doomed to obscurity 364 days out of the year.

RockGeek Fact of the Day #1508
Today would have been George Harrison’s 67th birthday. On (my favorite George Harrison tune) “The Art of Dying,” soon-to-be Genesis drummer/singer Phil Collins plays congas.
