You gotta feel bad for the people of Springfield, OH. Those pesky Haitian immigrants are eating dogs and cats! Can you believe it? Of course not. But do people believe it? Apparently so.
Rarely do I quote Nazis, but since we’re talking about Trump, it sort of makes sense:

That piece of wisdom comes from Joseph Goebbels — Nazi Minister of Proproganda. Think about it for a minute. Then consider how often you’ve heard the following:
- I won the election.
- This is a partisan witchhunt.
- My rallies draw the biggest crowds.
- There are good people on both sides.
Those with at least a 3rd grade education can spot the bullshit immediately. So why keep repeating it over and over and over. Because eventually it just becomes fact. Granted it’s an “alternate fact.”
So we’re back to eating pets. Consider this:
A claim so absurd that nobody believed it, but they won’t let it go. Never mind the fact that their “evidence” is ridiculously flawed, or that at its base, this is a racist attack on Haitians and immigrants, but come on? Do you really think a band of hungry Haitians are marching through neighborhoods looking to filet Fluffy?
