What better way to celebrate the birthday of America than by a clip featuring both excessive drinking -and- a great American. Below is a clip of one of America’s greatest filmmakers – Orson Welles. In his later years, hard up for cash and low on integrity, he made a series of (infamous) commercials for winemaker Paul Masson. Apparently he sampled the product liberally before filming commenced.
These outtakes have circulated for years and have become the stuff of legend. Just like Orson.
